How do I select the correct subsea floater material?

The material is selected mainly according to operating depth, required buoyancy, cable or riser diameter, and project conditions. Syntactic foam is commonly used for deepwater applications, while PVC, EVA, and PU materials are also available for specific requirements.

Please provide the operating depth, required buoyancy, cable or riser diameter, quantity, and any dimensional or installation requirements. Drawings or technical specifications are helpful if available.

Our subsea floaters are mainly designed for subsea applications from approximately 300 to 6,000 meters. Solutions for shallower water can also be provided according to project requirements.

Yes. Outer diameter, inner diameter, length, center bore, mounting holes, shape, and net buoyancy can be customized to suit your equipment and installation requirements.

Do you provide split floaters for existing cables or risers?

Yes. Split subsea floaters can be designed for installation around existing cables, umbilicals, risers, and other subsea lines without requiring the line to pass through a one-piece float.

Yes. We can manufacture subsea floaters according to customer drawings and technical specifications. Custom CNC-machined shapes, dimensions, mounting features, and interfaces are available.

Depending on project requirements, dimensional inspection, density testing, buoyancy verification, water absorption testing, and pressure-related testing can be provided. Inspection and test requirements can be confirmed before production.
